Lumi-O is a manufacturer of rotomolded spas, drop in pool steps, inground & above ground pool lighting system including installation services in its local market.

With this acquisition, Innovaplas now owns all the patents and design patents for drop in steps from stackability to ballasting system of the Cake Style and other numerous design patents. «The positive outcome of all these past litigations is that we have judgments from the courts recognizing the value, application and infringements of these patents. It will be much easier to enforce any of these patents in the future “.

Lumi-O will continue to operate as a separate entity with its existing staff.
This is the second project within twelve months of a long term vision in this category for Innovaplas’ & its Equity partner. The long term vision includes seeking additional consolidation opportunities in the Rotomolded Spa category and above ground pool entry systems.
